Dynaburr provides mechanical galvanizing of hardware, structural fasteners, and appliance parts up to 1.5 lbs. and 1’ in length. Mechanical galvanizing is a metal finishing technique that offers an excellent alternative to hot dip galvanizing for parts with either internal or external threads. Mechanical galvanizing provides a uniform thickness of 1 to 5 mils which eliminates the need to chase any threads and prevents any part mating issues caused by the hot dip process. We galvanize steel, stainless steel, spring steel, brass, powdered metal, and copper.
Post-galvanizing finishes include yellow chromate, black, clear, olive drab, hex free trivalent, or hex free yellow die conversion coatings as well as wax, oil, or dyed coatings in red, blue, or green. Our mechanical galvanizing process meets ASTM 965 specifications as well as company –specific requirements for Mercury Marine, GE, John Deere, and Caterpillar.
