Mechanical Plating Services

At Dynaburr, we specialize in custom mechanical plating using zinc, tin, zinc aluminum, tin and zinc, copper, and silver plating material. We can plate steel, stainless steel, spring steel, brass, and powdered metal. Mechanical plating provides excellent corrosion resistance while eliminating any hydrogen embrittlement issues and post-plate baking requirements. It is an environmentally safe process that provides very uniform coating thicknesses up to 5 mils, and creates an excellent base for additional top coats including conversion coatings, trivalent coating, wax, oils, or dyes in red, green, or blue. Mechanical plating can be used on parts up to 1’ in length and up to 1 lb. in weight.
